Case Studies

RealClassic

RealClassic.co.uk (in its original guise as ClassicBikeMart) was conceived by myself, Rowena Hoseason and Frank Westworth in late 2002, and was designed and implemented by me in January 2003. I have maintained and developed the site since then, and it is now the UK's most visited classic motorcycling website, regularly amongst the top ten sites in the "Automotive - Motorcycling" category as measured by Hitwise.

The site concentrates on delivering the content that its audience is looking for, in a simple, straightforward and effective way. It's given me the chance to "put my money where my mouth is" when it comes to site development and I think the results speak for themselves.

Diablo 666 - James Hutchins - Bol d'Or 2007

Diablo 666

I have been providing World Endurance Championship motorcycle racing team Diablo 666 with photographic services for the last three years, producing images that have been used by the team for press releases, website updates, sponsor bulletins, exhibition display stands and to decorate the team's pit garage at international races.

Computers Unlimited - 3D Design Team

The 3D Design Team at Computers Unlimited wanted to market their specialist software portfolio to a key market. I worked with them to clarify their aims for the project, and then to design and implement a website which they could easily update themselves with without upsetting the core structure or content of the site.

Buffer Bear Nurseries

Buffer Bear Nurseries wanted to go out to tender for a website redesign. I worked with them to produce an invitation to tender document which was sent out to a number of design agencies, managed the process of short-listing the applicants and interviewing the leading three agencies.

Yamaha Phase One Endurance - Oschersleben 2007

Yamaha Phase One Endurance

I have been working with triple world championship winning motorcycle racing team Yamaha Phase One Endurance since 1998, writing and distributing press releases before, during and after races, maintaining the team website, working with journalists on editorial features about the team, providing material for use by sponsors and archiving the teams' activities.
